6.25 ct Pink Kunzite - Trillion

At 6.25 carats, this kunzite from Brazil carries its pink color through a trillion cut, measuring 12.3 x 12.2 x 7.8 mm.

Kunzite is the pink-to-violet spodumene, colored by manganese, prized for clean pastel color in generous sizes. Brazil has been one of the most prolific colored-gemstone sources in the world for a century, and still turns up new material on a regular basis. It is wholly untreated, its color finished by geology rather than by any furnace or enhancement.

Its exact combination of color, cut, and origin is its own, the kind of center stone you choose on purpose and build a piece around. Hand-selected and filmed by Caveman Gems in good light, shown as honestly as a screen allows.
