3.85 ct Green Peridot - Cushion

This 3.85-carat peridot is cut as a cushion measuring 7.6 x 4.7 mm, with a green body color, sourced from Burma.

Peridot is the gem form of olivine, colored green by the iron in its own structure, one of the few gems that occurs in a single color. Burma has supplied the gem trade with prized material for centuries, from narrow and irregularly worked deposits. It carries no treatment of any kind, so the color you see is the color that came out of the ground.
