3.19 ct Blue Sapphire - Round

This 3.19-carat sapphire is cut as a round measuring 6.8 x 5 mm, with a blue body color, sourced from Sri Lanka.

As a member of the corundum family, sapphire pairs deep color with a hardness that makes it one of the most durable choices for a ring worn every day. Sri Lanka has produced fine sapphire in every color for two thousand years, prized for transparency and life in the stone. Its color was brought up by heat, a legitimate and accepted practice that the trade discloses and we disclose here.

There are not many gemstones like it, and there will not be more. Shown in good light, with its full history available before you commit.
