27.92 ct Pink Kunzite - Pear

This 27.92-carat kunzite is cut as a pear measuring 25.5 x 16.5 x 11.8 mm, with a pink body color, sourced from Afghanistan.

Kunzite is the pink-to-violet spodumene, colored by manganese, prized for clean pastel color in generous sizes. Afghanistan's mountains hold some of the oldest worked gem deposits on earth, mined since antiquity. Its color was brought up by heat, a legitimate and accepted practice that the trade discloses and we disclose here.

One of a kind, it exists exactly once; there is no second example to size up or down. It is the rarer object, and the kind of gemstone that becomes an heirloom. Caveman Gems hand-selects every gemstone and films it in good light, to give you the truest look a screen can.
