1.00 ct Orange Garnet-Spessartite - Round

This 1-carat spessartite garnet is cut as a round measuring 5.9 x 4.0 mm, with an orange body color, sourced from Nigeria.

Spessartite is the manganese garnet that owns the orange end of the family, from honeyed tones to the saturated mandarin color collectors chase. Nigeria's gem fields came to prominence in the 1990s and remain a significant source of spessartite and other fine garnet. It carries no treatment of any kind, so the color you see is the color that came out of the ground.

No two of these line up the same way on color, cut, and origin at once, which is what makes choosing this one feel deliberate. Caveman Gems hand-selects every gemstone and films it in good light, to give you the truest look a screen can.
