1.00 ct Green Alexandrite - Oval

This 1-carat alexandrite is cut as an oval measuring 7.5 x 5.8 x 3.3 mm, with a green body color, sourced from Sri Lanka.

Alexandrite is the color-change chrysoberyl, green in daylight and red under lamplight; few gemstones genuinely change hue, and this is the one that defined the effect. Sri Lanka's gem gravels have been worked continuously for more than two thousand years. It carries no treatment of any kind, so the color you see is the color that came out of the ground.

There are not many gemstones like it, and there will not be more. Shown in good light, with its full history available before you commit.
