10.42 ct Pink Kunzite - Trillion

At 10.42 carats, this kunzite from Afghanistan carries its pink color through a trillion cut, measuring 14.5 x 12.5 x 10.5 mm.

Kunzite is the pink-to-violet spodumene, colored by manganese, prized for clean pastel color in generous sizes. Afghanistan's mountains hold some of the oldest worked gem deposits on earth, mined since antiquity. Its color was brought up by heat, a legitimate and accepted practice that the trade discloses and we disclose here.

This is a center-stone-grade gemstone with a character of its own, chosen rather than settled for. Hand-selected and filmed by Caveman Gems in good light, shown as honestly as a screen allows.
