1.70 ct Violet Tanzanite - Round

At 1.7 carats, this tanzanite from Tanzania carries its violet color through a round cut, measuring 5.9 x 4 mm.

Tanzanite is the blue-violet zoisite found in exactly one place on earth, a few square kilometers of hills in northern Tanzania. Tanzania holds some of the most interesting modern gem deposits, including several found nowhere else. It is heat-treated, a common and honest preparation across the colored-stone trade, disclosed on every listing.

A single natural gemstone with no duplicate behind it; once it is set or collected, there is no other. It will outlast everyone who owns it, which is most of what an heirloom really is. Hand-selected and filmed by Caveman Gems in good light, shown as honestly as a screen allows.
