1.46 ct Pink Garnet-Rhodolite - Cushion

This 1.46-carat rhodolite garnet is cut as a cushion measuring 7.7 x 6 x 4 mm, with a pink body color, sourced from Tanzania.

Rhodolite sits between pyrope and almandine, with a raspberry note the eye reads as livelier than either parent species. Tanzania's gem gravels yield one of the widest spreads of garnet species anywhere, with the saturation East African material is known for. It carries no treatment of any kind, so the color you see is the color that came out of the ground.
