1.24 ct White Sapphire - Rectangle

At 1.24 carats, this sapphire from Sri Lanka carries its white color through a rectangle cut, measuring 6.6 x 5 x 3.9 mm.
Sapphire is corundum, one of the hardest materials in the gem world after diamond, and it comes in every color the species holds except the red the trade reserves for ruby. Sri Lankan sapphire is hand-picked from river gravels worked for two thousand years, and the island's signature is bright, glassy color with high transparency. It is entirely untreated; no heat, no enhancement, the color exactly as the earth made it. It is GIA-certified, and the report is available to view.
This is a center-stone-grade gemstone with a character of its own, chosen rather than settled for. Hand-selected and filmed by Caveman Gems in good light, shown as honestly as a screen allows.
