1.05 ct Green Alexandrite - Cushion

This 1.05-carat alexandrite is cut as a cushion measuring 5.7 x 5.1 x 4.4 mm, with a green body color, sourced from Sri Lanka.

Alexandrite is the color-change chrysoberyl, green in daylight and red under lamplight; few gemstones genuinely change hue, and this is the one that defined the effect. Sri Lanka's gem gravels have been worked continuously for more than two thousand years. It is entirely untreated; no heat, no enhancement, the color exactly as the earth made it.
