This 0.75-carat spinel is cut as a cushion measuring 6 x 4.8 x 3.6 mm, with a pink body color, sourced from Burma.

Spinel is the gemstone long mistaken for ruby in old crown jewels; in its own right it grows as a hard, brilliant, untreated red, pink, or blue.
