0.67 ct Green Sphene - Trillion

At 0.67 carats, this sphene from Madagascar carries its green color through a trillion cut, measuring 6.4 x 5.7 x 3.3 mm.

Sphene has dispersion higher than diamond, so a well-cut stone throws more fire than almost any other gemstone. Madagascar has produced an unusually wide range of gem species since the mid 1990s. It is entirely untreated; no heat, no enhancement, the color exactly as the earth made it.

A natural sphene small enough to wear every day and real enough to mean it, not a lab stone and not glass. Hand-selected and filmed by Caveman Gems in good light, shown as honestly as a screen allows.
