Mine Visits & Field Events
Join us at the gemstone mines of San Diego County: Oceanview, Anza, and beyond. These are working field trips with a gemologist. You handle rough material, learn to read deposits, and occasionally keep what you find.

Exclusive evenings in the style of the Pala gemstone talks. Intimate gatherings where we take our time with a gemstone, an origin, a cutting tradition. Drinks, material on the table, conversation that doesn’t simplify.
First Look Access
Before any gemstone is listed publicly, Tribe members receive a private email with photography, provenance, and wholesale pricing. The finest material tends to move before it ever reaches the shop.

Apply or Be Invited
Submit your information below. We review applications personally. We want to know what you collect, what you’re looking for, and how we can serve you well. Some members join by invitation from existing members.
Get Confirmed
Once accepted, you’ll receive a welcome email with your member access, current wholesale pricing sheets, and the upcoming event calendar. There is no fee to join. The program is our investment in a long relationship.
Stay Connected
Members receive a private newsletter, distinct from our public list, with new collection previews, event invitations, and occasional close studies of material we find remarkable. You buy when something moves you.
In the Field
San Diego Mine CountryWhere the Tribe gathers.
San Diego County is one of the most mineralogically rich regions in the world, the source of world class tourmaline, kunzite, morganite, and spessartine garnet. We run events at active mining operations and private claims throughout Pala and Rincon Hill.
Tribe members join us for small group days in the field: touring the pegmatites, sorting rough with our team, understanding material at the level of origin rather than the retail case.
These events are held a few times per year, open only to members. Spots are limited by the size of the site.
